I present: A sketch of Jora. First off, sorry the sketch came later than I said, but TECHNICALLY it's still Thursday in some parts of the world! And... WOW, stuff like this is hard. I will refrain from making crude jokes at this point and ask that readers similarly refrain. Depth is hard to draw... I THINK I did an okay job at conveying the angle and proportion of her arms... But do you people know how hard it is to draw a sheet? Argh! That's what's supposed to be around her waist. And that huge blob on her lower back is supposed to be her tattoo, which is about half that size and infinitely more detailed. =P There's a lot of stuff wrong with the sketch, but it was fun to try drawing it. Thanks, Jora. ;D EDIT: And yeah...her fingers are supposed to be in her hair. >_>

Anytime Avelon. And yes, yes it was fun. But it was hard trying to get my hair high enough to show my tattoo.

Yea, the arms ended up looking too short and small instead of as if the elbows are forward, which throws off the proportions on the back making her look a little out of whack.

I think that was partly my fault as well, I kept stretching..I don't think I made a very good _still_ model.

You made an excellent still model. =)
I think the problem with her elbows not looking 'forward' enough is because of her forearms...her upper arms actually look rather good in my opinion, and I've made fun of everything else I've drawn so far. =P
Any suggestions?

Maybe some shading would help the arms...of course, my best feat when it comes to art is DoodLand, so perhaps you shouldn't listen to anything I say. =P

No, I think you're right...but I have no clue how to shade them, is the problem.

New sketches, this time of Zade. I had some trouble getting this thing to NOT be resized on Photobucket, so I just cleaned out my Boomspeed a little bit. Anyway... I'm still not sure what kind of 'design' I want the faces to be. Some of these you can tell I just sketched out really fast and moved on, but I spent a bit more time on some of them. As for the "doodle", as Jest would call it, to the left, I'm not really ready to start worrying about the style that I want to draw bodies in, but I wanted to try a pose. Suggestions are, as always, welcome.

I'll take that as a compliment of some sort. =P Thanks.
Also, I decided I'd worked too d**ned hard to get this picture hosted to let the whole sleeves thing stay. So I edited it.

And you have the female shape right, i think you should work on shading and proportion more though. -woe it's not that hard.. *cough*

It is of a nude female fairy. I got it as a birthday present when I was 16....my dad was positively ANGRY! It is a bit smaller then he drew though, but he did get her pose just about right.
