Ever since that dood came in and posted on General Board to tell me to get Ayreon - Sail Away To Avalon, I've been listening to more of their stuff.
Particularly, I've listened to their 20-part Epic (I call it '20 Days' because I'm not sure if the album name, 'Human Equation', is the name of the Epic as well...they aren't the only songs on the 2-disc set, according to totally legal programs that make you pay for music with money).
It's pretty d**ned good, I must say. Maybe I'll get you chumps a link to a completely legal download that you will of course have to pay (with money) to use.

My pick would probably be the unknown (at least to people not into prog) Camel. Something about them I've always liked, I even dig their late 70s-80s stuff to a degree.

Yay, 60's.... hehe.. and Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol is good...
Right now i'm really into the Deathstars. Swedish Industrial Metal, quite nice. I like Blitzkrieg and Cyanide by them the best.

The Yeah yeah yeah's are probably the best band in the world! and Karen O is the best singer in the world too! xD Yess I couldnt agree more. By the way.. its yeah yeah yeahs, no 'the' at the start. And Jest.. simple music is the best sort of music!

And Jest.. simple music is the best sort of music! I beg to differ. Simple music has its place, but it is certainly not the best sort. Yeah yeah yeahs are awesome though can't disagree there. Jest is just jealous because I found them before he did:p

Well, when it comes to simple music it depends which sort. When I say 'simple' I mean music that isn't driven simply by the fact that its just so catchy / dancy / heavy / poppy / experimental / contemporary etc.. simple music thats just good because it can be appriciated on the ground that its just well written music. Refer to The Beatles.

No, thats just my opinion. well actually... lets not get into it, the whole music thing. I appriciate certain characteristics in music that others may not. Music is relative and not an absolute so I dont know what Im on about, really. Anyway, I was just pointing out that simple isnt bad, I actually prefer it.

I used to really like Switchfoot, but now that I've started listening to Hoobastank, i would have to say a tie between them.

Mine would have to be Iron & Wine. Or William Fitzsimmons. Or Death Cab for Cutie. Or Sigur Ros. lol.

Sigur Ros is amazing...or insane. They just make up nonsense words for half their songs. XD
