Ok. This started as a photo of my own eye, and was... edited slightly. The actual picture wasn't that great quality, which explains the fuzziness of the iris, which should be much more vibrant. As I'm not exactly a photoshop pro, I'd like constructive critiscism. Which rules out nearly anything Ave says. EDIT: Uploading it made the quality even worse. Darn photobucket.

Rather cool, I like the butterflys and plants in the eye. It adds a cool effect.

Yeah, excellent photoshopness. As you said, the only problem is the blurriness of the eye and perhaps got rid of the bits of eyelash (I think it takes away at least) Otherwise I would say really cool and artistic. Better then I would do.

I did not. It is my eye but a friend of mine messed around in photoshop for me.

The only aesthetically displeasing aspects of the picture are the fuzziness of the iris and the lashes on the lower portion of the eye.
I think this is a great concept - the only thing apart from the original photo that I'm going to raise any criticisms about is the addition of butterflies. The plants are beautiful, but moon moths (difference is subtle in the silhouette form it would appear as, but...) would be a better choice in my opinion.
Another idea might be to make the pupil the moon. I think a waning gibbous would look neat, especially if you tweaked the colours of the iris around it. Assuming everything else remains the same, that would justify the white trees.
