Launch Date: 11/19/2006New feature: As if the Virtual Console, and WiiConnect24 wasn't good enough, Nintendo now reveals the Wii Channel. Basically this works as a homescreen when you start up the Wii. From this channel you can quickly select to play your game, play a game form the Virtual Console, surf the Internet using the Wii, check the weather, check world news, access and configure your avatar, redeem your Wii-points, check the time, edit-photos and create slide-shows, and more. It's like Nintendo is constantly brainstorming more and more ways to be awesome.

Though, can someone tell the the release date of SSB: Brawl, people keep saying it's a release title, then it's not and so on? because if it's a launch release, how did you miss it off?

Awwww.
-but wait! One of the new news stories today is that the Wii won't have region-coding, meaning that we can import SSBB, and play it on our systems!
As for learning Japanese, heck, both SSB games had an option to view the menus in Japanese, maybe the Japanese games have a way to view the menus in English. =P

I wouldn't be suprised. hough it's not something I'd wager buying a copy of the game for the sake of a few months only to find it doesn't have any English option atall, and there's an alarming increase in text to read on the game. (which there should be, I dan't wanna have to translate the post-match awards after each game )

Just make friends with a Japanese kid nearbye and act like you like him just so he'll translate the game for you, while making you sandwiches.
