We know that from nothing, nothing comes. So if there was ever a time when there was absolutely nothing in existence then nothing would have ever come to exist. But things do exist. Therefore, since there could never have been absolutely nothing, something had to have always been existing. That ever-existing thing is what we call God.
To us, the notion of time is linear. One second follows the next, one minute is after another. We get older, not younger and we cannot repeat the minutes that have passed us by. We have all seen the time lines on charts: early time is on the left and later time is on the right. We see nations, people's lives, and plans mapped out on straight lines from left to right. We see a beginning and an end. But God is "beyond the chart." He has no beginning or end. He simply has always been.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
II Peter 3:8 But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Therefore, God made time. Before the universe time did not exist.
There was a "time" when there was no time. Get your head around that one
Because God has allowed man to choose his own course, many people do not believe God exists. It is not uncommon to hear the question asked, "If there is a God, why does He allow crime, war, and disease? If He is truly powerful, why doesn't He stop these evils? Why does He hide Himself?"
Many religions teach that we are separated from God because of "the fall of man." They teach that God created man perfect and complete, but that Satan somehow wrecked the creation, causing man to fall from grace.
God's creation was physically perfect, God wanted peace and happiness for man, Satan introduced sin to our first ancestors. By obeying Satan instead of the Creator, Adam and Eve were thrown out of their beautiful garden and made subject to curses and death.
Why did god bother creating us?
If God had not created us, He would have been overcome with evil, for it would have dictated that the righteous would never have an opportunity to love and be loved by the One who is everlasting and full of pleasures forevermore. If the righteous were to miss out on the Magnificent God, would that be fair? That would be folly.
Hell was not made for us, it was made for satan. God doesn't want you to go there, you make that choice. You go there if you choose to ignore God and live your life blindly.
The evidence is above. No one's going to make the decision for you, you're the one who has to choose.
