This is the first forum I frequent that I got to be the first one to to post this. www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3143782As stated by everyone else who viewed this article, the first thing you say is, "What the f**k?" The initial appearance makes people believe they are looking at some DVD player remote control of some sort. Hell, as they look at it, they might think it is a 90 degree view of an Apple version of the original Nintendo's controller. However, upon reading through the article, things change. Seems very very interesting with all the add-ons and the such. I am going to withhold my comments if I think it is better than the Gamecube controller or not (which is a very solid design for a controller no less, except they could have made the C stick a bit more comfortable to manipulate). I am feeling a bit eager to see this in my hands to find out if it will display that Nintendo aren't some unoriginal donkey bangers like some of their competitors, or if it turns out to be another ingenious flop (rest in peace Virtual Boy)

That'll work well. It plugs into a normal controller shell, so that takes care of the people too steeped in Sony to play real games. I look forward to seeing first-hand the sword swinging mentioned in the article.

Nintendo is being annoyingly creative lately. I'm not sure weather to love it or not, at first I usualy go "Brilliant!" then I go "wait a minute...that's weird". I never did get use to DS and I probably never will.
I like the fact that you just point it about in a shooter game. I wonder how long the meeting was that came up with that thing.

Meeting? Dude, we're talking about Nintendo here. I'd bet money someone got that in a brainstorm.

It's funny I always picture Nintendo discussing things, where as I picture Playstation and Xbox just going "Better GRAPHICSz0rS! OK! Slap it together! Lets go!"

While I don't mind the Gamecube controller, and find it much better than the PS2 controller, especially, I have some problems with it: The Z button. Christ, why the hell put it there? It's tiny and hard to press. The original Xbox controller was ugly and unwieldly, of course, but the S controller was excellent. Simple, easy to use, and fits excellently in a hand.

FPS will be so much more "realistic" I think. No need for autoaim at all.

George Lucas: Well hot piss. Look at this controller! Minion 1: Yes sir, it's like a remote, sir. George Lucas: With this, lightsaber battles can be utterly realistic! Minion 2: Hehehehehehe! George Lucas: Yes...yeeeessssss... Minions! I have it! Minion 1: Yes, sir. You do, sir. George Lucas: In my next game, the player will fight other Jedi in duels to the death! Only by twirling their controllers around faster than a master of the Force can they rise to the top! And rule the world! BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! AAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA! Secretary: Mr. Lucas? George Lucas: -wakes up.- Eh? Wha? Secretary: Were you dreaming of owning the world again, Mr. Lucas? George Lucas: Y-yeah... Secretary: Mr. Lucas, we've been through this many times. Hironobu- George Lucas: -Sakaguchi rules the world. Yes. v_v

Could it be? Gamers come out more in shape then jocks? Well no... But if it did happen it's sure enough Nintendo would be the party responsible...
Hey, didn't nintendo make some sort of exercise bike/videogame years and years ago?

I do remember the game Excitebike for the NES which is now re-released on the GBA, but I'm not sure if that's the one you mean... And about the revolution controller: looks like yet another extremely innovative Nintendo doodle I've seen a videoclip on tv the past week about it and they demonstrated it using a tennis game, looks pretty interesting, but I doubt it that many people will go stand infront of their tv and swing that thing around like crazy

The n64 has the best controler (not to mention classic games) nothing beats it and you could swap controler halfs with your freinds to get multi coloured ones.
